Winery Gordaliza S.L is a major project of two members, which are flushed on a target: the production of great wines, rosé, white and mostly red wines crianzaa and reserve, from a grape that offers very interesting nuances, Mencía and Prieto Picudo varieties, both native to the province of León.  

Grapes come from vineyards located on land south of Leon (municipalities of Gordaliza del Pino, Bercianos del Real Camino, Villeza, Galleguillos, San Miguel, etc.) and is over fifty years old vines.

These vines are cultivated in a traditional way and harvested by hand, when the grape is in its bridge of maturation.  After the harvest, make our wines in controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where grapes fermented slowly at about 25 ° C, until the wine is ready the red wine goes into our barrels of French oak and American oak and white and rosé wine to be bottled in our own facilities.  

Our wines are the fruit of the complement of the traditional Mencia and Prieto Picudo, varieties in the South of the province of León, and modern techniques, managing to raise elegant harmonic and complex wines. The same is carcterizan for being fine, balanced, well structured and to see it reflect the character of each grape in the province of León.
